Q What is your advice on planning the perfect intimate wedding?
A Jenny Armstrong says: If the idea of gathering your closest friends and family together to share your special day is just a little too overwhelming for you, going down the intimate wedding route may just be the right choice.

Having a cosier celebration has many benefits and we've seen more of these enquiries coming through to us for 2024 and beyond. You'll be able to spend more quality time with each of your guests, have more budget for entertainment, venue styling and also to create a really personalised experience for yourselves as well as your guests.

We suggest choosing a venue that's perfect for the size of your guest list; this could even be a restaurant that you both love. Any space can be transformed according to your vision. You could spend some time handwriting invites to really create that personal touch; you could even add personalised favours or gifts for each guest.

The beauty of an intimate wedding, and one not to be forgotten, is that sometimes the best things really do come in small packages.
