Style It Out
Q | What should we look out for in the world of weddings in 2024? |
A | Jenny and Claire says: 2024 is set to be a fabulous year for weddings with couples wanting new and exciting design schemes for their big day. We're seeing a surge in bookings for ceiling décor with floral and foliage chandeliers. Hoops with streamers and fringing with disco balls are also popular choices. Colour-wise its looking like we'll be seeing polar opposites on the spectrum: vibrant hot pinks and bright oranges with metallic gold and coppers, or neutral, beige and stone hues with black and white. Oversized signage such as giant table plans and hanging-frame welcome signs are popular and photo opportunity walls are a must. Fun areas like this give your guests a great place to take pictures. Shimmer walls are a favourite of ours too, as they're so effective and available in lots of colours. Tablescaping is a new trend. Think charger plates, luxury table linen, multiple candle holders and more. This allows your photographer to capture a wealth of beautiful detail shots. Sustainability of course is a big consideration for clients. As a company we don't ever use single-use products, so balloons are a big no for us. We work with fresh flowers and high-quality artificial florals, which we supply on a hire basis. We redesign and reuse the latter for each wedding, saving couples a considerable amount on their floral budget while still looking just as effective. |
