Founded during lockdown in 2020 by Brian and Deborah Brereton, The Mobberley Ice Cream Co's passion for ice cream is unparalleled! Disillusioned by the use of generic mixes and uninspiring powders often used to make ice cream, Brian set about making traditional high-quality ice cream using a simple foundation of milk, cream and sugar. Renting space from a local micro-dairy just a mile from their home to test their own recipes, the couple sold their first tub in August 2020 and haven't looked back.

As demand grew, more space to make and store their creations was needed. In April 2023, they opened their own ice cream shop with an in-house kitchen, where their journey continues. Now, you can even book the company's horsebox ice cream bar for your wedding! What sets Mobberley Ice Cream apart is the dedication to using the finest ingredients – all natural, non-artificial, and predominantly local components, with no shortcuts or artificial additives.
