A recent study has revealed the UK’s highest-rated stately homes for Bridgerton themed weddings, with Pembroke Lodge, Surrey named the best.

The research, conducted by photo wall art creator StoryBoards, analysed user-generated review data from a popular wedding planning site to identify the UK regions with the highest quantity of top-rated stately homes by creating an overall rating score.

The study has revealed that Pembroke Lodge is the nation's most highly rated stately home. Located in Surrey, the grand wedding venue has over 1,100 five-star ratings and an overall perfect score of 10 out of 10.

Parklands, located in Essex, was crowned the second-best stately home in the nation: it achieved an overall score of 6.99 out of ten, as it had fewer five-star ratings than Pembroke Lodge. Parklands has had 771 five-star reviews.

The third-best stately home in the UK was revealed as Fennes; the estate, which is in Essex, has 530 five-star ratings and a score of 4.81.

The Lawn, also in Essex, was crowned the fourth-best stately home in the UK; the stately home has been rated five stars by over 434 thrilled celebrants. The Lawn received an overall score of 3.93 in the study.

The fifth-best stately home was revealed to be Prested Hall; the Essex-based stately home has 321 five-star ratings and a score of 2.91 in the study.

An spokesperson from StoryBoards commented on the findings: “Choosing the right services and venues for your wedding is crucial to make your special day unique and memorable for both you and your partner. It's important to research and find highly rated venues in your preferred wedding destination.

“Using this list can help to ensure that you can pick the best venues in the country to match any regal or Bridgeton-themed wedding you might be planning. With Essex having such a high number of great stately homes, a day trip to Essex could be a great place to start wedding planning.”
