Situated among the stunning grounds of Meols Hall in the pretty village of Churchtown, the Tithe Barn offers quite the setting for a wedding. This exclusive 400-year-old candlelit barn has an atmosphere all of its own and sits near the historical 12th-century manor house. Plus, there are certainly some excellent photographic opportunities across the 100-acre estate.

The venue offers a complete package of catering, bar service, master of ceremonies and entertainment if you wish.

Ceremonies are hosted in the Tithe Barn with a minimum of 50 and maximum of 120 loved ones. Sympathetically restored by local craftsmen the barn is full of rustic charm and features original brick walls and an open-beamed ceiling.

The wedding breakfast takes place in the lovely Tithe Barn, also with a maximum of 120 guests and an additional 30 welcome for the evening reception.

There's also the tastefully-restored original coach house with its large French doors opening out onto the picturesque traditional cobbled courtyard. It comes complete with shepherds hut bar, heated parasols, patio tables, chairs and outdoor lanterns. This makes an ideal year-round outdoor/indoor venue for entertaining your nearest and dearest, as well as the perfect place to relax, enjoy welcome drinks and even a selection of delicious canapés.
