L.S. Lowry at Carden Park

Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire is excited to announce that it's currently displaying a selection of outstanding signed limited editions prints by L.S. Lowry for a limited time only. In collaboration with the fine art and sculpture company Windsor Birch, founded by Grant Ford - as seen on BBC Antiques Roadshow - the prints can be viewed within the hotel as it enhances its art offering.

Guests are invited to come and view these exquisite prints, which depict many local areas and industrial landscapes. You can also wander the hotel's esteemed sculpture garden for a day of culture.

Laurence Stephen Lowry is one of Britain’s most recognisable painters, best known for his popular mill scenes and industrial landscapes. He was fascinated by the ebb and flow of everyday people, often against the backdrop of the industrial landscape that surrounded them and dominated their lives. Lowry was fond of saying 'I only paint what I see, you know', but regularly painted from memory or imagination.

The six prints on show at Carden Park Hotel are:

•     Station Approach – Manchester station
•     Winter in Broughton
•     Tree in a Square
•     Berwick-Upon-Tweed
•     The Three Cats, Alstow
•     Landscape with Farm Building

All pieces on display are available to purchase with prices ranging from £4,750 to £16,000.
